SUNDAY, APRIL 15 2012 - 20TH ANNUAL HEARTLAND TOURNAMENT

Gym opens at 7:30. A brief coaches/captains meeting will take place at 7:40 am to go over the ground rules for the day. All coaches and players playing in the second match should be there at least a 1/2 hour early. Any changes to the format, or playoff brackets will be handed out at the coaches meeting.

USVBA  Rules will apply.

 Format-  6 (4) team pools. Pool play will be 2 of 3 games  rally scoring to 25 points with a 27 point cap. If
needed 3rd game is to 15 no cap. Teams DO  NOT  switch at 8  in pool play!. 
All teams will advance to one of the following playoff Divisions; Gold, Silver. or Bronze

Medal for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place of Gold, Silver,  Bronze Divisions, and 1st and 2nd for Copper Divison

Playoff will begin after pool is completed.  A playoff match is two out of three games to 25 pt., no cap. If a deciding game is needed it will be 15-point rally scoring. Team will switch at 8 and no cap.

Make sure you check with the site director before leaving the tournament.

Concessions and Tee Shirts will be on sale.

Monticello High School is located southeast of downtown Monticello. Entrances and parking on both sides of the building. Use East Parking Lot for fieldhouse events.

I-94 to Exit 194. At stoplight take left on 18, go through next stoplight and at stop sign take right on School Blvd.

I-94 to Exit 193, south on Hwy 25 to School Blvd., turn left, stay on School Blvd. for 1.3 miles to high school.

Monticello Middle School is located east of downtown Monticello on County Rd 75. Entrances and parking off Washington and off Co Rd 75
